Hamilton Punjabi Sports and Cultural Club was formed in 1999. The first Founder President of this club was Tejinder Singh and present President of this club is Charanjit Singh Thind.  With the help and support of the small community of Hamilton and Stoney Creek. This club had its first tournament in June 2000 at Ivor Wyne Stadium.  This tournament was the first ever tournament held on the land of Hamilton Ontario, mostly from the Punjabi community.  Since the year of 2001 to now, this club has a kabaddi team and has hosted free kabaddi tournaments every year.  This club is the member of Ontario Sports Federation.  This club is very active in various social work and all the members always take part when these community events take place.  With the hard work and dedication of the club members, this club has earned a very good name and respect in Ontario.

This club is proudly hosting Canada Kabaddi Cup 2008 on August 9, 2008 at Copps Coliseum Hamilton Ontario.  Copps Coliseum is one of the best indoor stadium in Ontario.  It has the capacity of 20 thousand people. 

The tickets of the Canada Kabaddi Cup are:

- $45 at the door
- V.I.P tickets are $100.
